Description
The A34 Comet is widely regarded at Britain's best all around tank of World War II. It didn't enter service until December of 1944 so it didn't have a chance to make a major impact. The Comet is generally considered the relative equal of Germany's legendary Panther.

The German would be better because of the sloped armour glacis copied from the Soviet T-34/76. I suspect that the T-34/85 would also be a better tank than the Comet for the same reason. but there is no question it was far and away the best English tank of WWII and was still good enough to serve in Korea.
