Awesome painting!  

I love the Fw-190's style. Because they couldn't out turn or out climb the enemy fighters they dove on the enemy and climbed back up again (very good speed retention). Excellent bomber hunter, especially the early A-5's with 20mm cannon x4.

May I ask why you've chosen this one? He wasn't one of the biggest aces as far as I remember.

I chose to depict this airplane primarily because I wanted to show an "A8" version of the Fw 190. I liked the markings of this airplane and I also like the unit and "Black 8". Willi's score of 27 is also very respectable.
