A pair of MH-53 Sea Dragons of the US Navy's Helicopter Combat Support Squadron HC-4 on patrol somewhere in Iraq circa 2006. The squadron was deactivated in September of 2007.
I always liked the huge Sea Stallion and it's derivatives. It is an impressive sight to see such a large helicopter at high speed low to the ground.
one of the many aircraft my neighbor has worked on over the years. The had these on the Assault craft Tarawa when my dad was stationed on it. Apparently he hated that boat.

Those were like the Navy's equivalent to the Chinooks without the second main rotor. Those things can lift a ton, and go forever. One of my favorite helicopters.

Thank you very much Lyle. I was actually really nervous about this one. I recently bought a new computer with a glossy screen. The colors and contrast are so much more bright and crisp on the new machine compared to my old one. I was worried it might mess up my art work.
