Artist's Comments

Just finished this one today. This piece was commissioned by the current owner of the locomotive. It is looking a bit ragged these days but the scene depicts the ALCo in her glory days pulling a train of cars known as "Ping Pongs" for their tendency to bounce around a bit while in motion.

Digital Painting, 20" x 30", 300 dpi

The owner getting a comission of his engine, how cool is that? :D As usual, I mistook this as a photo while viewing it as thumbnail, so great job, as always! :)

Whew this was no simple task! Love the reflection in the water and the trees...geez...that had to take some time. Great work Mark.

We have a P-72 at the local museum and I must say it's earned it's nickname well! :P

Very well done, by the way! :D
